The Richmond County Coroner's Office was called to the scene of a deadly motorcycle accident last night on Bobby Jones Expressway near mile marker three. Coroner Mark Bowen says the rider was traveling at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the back of an eastbound vehicle. He was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene just after 9 p.m.
No other information will be released until family has been notified.
