Deadline Approaching to Register to Vote in November Elections

If you live in South Carolina, today is the last day you can register in-person to vote in next month's mid-term elections.  Online registration will be accepted through October 9, and mail-in registration must be postmarked by October 11.   Absentee ballot requests will be accepted starting October 28th.  They must be returned by 7 p.m. November 8th either in-person or by mail.  Early voting begins in South Carolina October 24 and runs through November 5.  Tuesday, November 8, is election day.  Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

In Georgia...you must be registered by Tuesday, October 11, to vote in the November 8th mid-term elections.  The deadline is the same for online and mail-in registration.  You can begin requesting absentee ballots October 28.  They must be received either in-person or by mail by 7 p.m. November 8.  Early voting takes place Monday through Friday, and the second and third Saturdays before Election Day.  Some polling locations may be open on the second and third Sundays.
