A teenager from South Carolina has advanced past the Blind Auditions on The Voice.

This is Emma Brooke Alley.  She’s 19 and from  Lyman, South Carolina.  She’s currently attending Converse University.  She was introduced to classical music when she was six years old, and she’s been singing ever since.  Her father joked that she broke multiple speakers at her church while singing.

She has opened for Hunter Hayes and Lauren Daigle singled her out to sing her 2020 world tour.

For her audition, Emma decided to sing Sia’s rendition of the old Mamas & Papas, California Dreamin.

The Voice is back for its new season.  Airing Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC.

Here’s Emma’s Blind Audition.
