Unconfirmed Threat at Josey High School Leads to Investigation
On the heels of Saturday’s shooting outside the football stadium at T.W. Josey High School that left two people wounded, comes word of a potential threat at the school today.
Some parents went to the school to get their children this morning after being made aware of the situation, though officials say nothing was confirmed.
Richmond County School Safety and Security officers are investigating.
Meanwhile, one person is in custody and one is still being sought in connection with Saturday’s shooting outside the stadium. Richmond County authorities are looking for 18-year-old Jamel Robinson. He’ll be charged with aggravated assault and having a weapon on school grounds. Marquis Lee was arrested the day after the shooting. He’s in custody charged with having a weapon on school grounds.
