Finalists Announced for 2022 Toy Hall of Fame

12 Nominees Announced for 2022 Toy Hall of FameThe finalists have been announced for the 2022 National Toy Hall of Fame and maybe some of your favorites are on the list!

The Strong's National Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester, New York announced today the 12 finalists for induction into the Hall.  The list includes Pound Puppies, Bingo, Phase 10, Rack-O, Spirograph, Breyer Horses, Lite-Brite, Catan, NERF, Masters of the Universe, the spinning top and pinata.

Vice President for Collections, Christopher Bensch, said "These 12 toys span the history of play.  The top is as old as civilization itself and bingo has been played in some form for hundreds of years.  Masters of the Universe and Pound Puppies became classics in the 1980s, but they too have greatly influenced the world of play.

The public can vote online now through September 21 at www.museumofplay.org.

Inductees will be announced in November.
