This week’s “Rescue of the Week” is “Beanie Weanie”.
Beanie is a dachshund mix with adorably splayed front paws and soulful eyes. Tiny dogs are something frequently asked about at AAS, but often they don’t have them.
Beanie was a little timid at first, but you would be too if you were alone and little in a big scary world. Small dogs like this often need some time, patience and quiet to build their trust and let their true personalities shine through. Beanie has made so much progress and now interacts with staff and visitors.
If you would like to adopt Beanie, just come down to Augusta Animal Services during regular adoption hours, Monday throught Friday, 11am-4pm. Saturdays, Noon-4pm.
