Two Vehicle Wreck Leaves One Dead in Aiken County

A two vehicle wreck early this afternoon on Atomic Road in Aiken County left one driver dead.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the accident was reported just after 1 p.m. near Old Jackson Highway.
The driver of a Ford Focus crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck that was pulling a shed. The pickup driver was not injured, but the other driver was killed, according to officials.
Names of those involved have not been released yet.
