Two people were killed in separate accidents minutes apart this morning in Richmond County.
Coroner Mark Bowen said 77-year-old Coy Plummer of Hephzibah-McBean Road died in a two vehicle crash in the 4400 block of Mike Padgett Highway. Authorities say his vehicle was hit on the driver’s side. Plummer died at the scene.
Nine minutes later, one person was killed in a wreck on I-20 eastbound near Bobby Jones Expressway. The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of family members.
