Fourth Person arrested for Ninth Avenue Murder in Augusta
A fourth person is now behind bars in connection with a deadly shooting at a home on Ninth Avenue in Augusta last month.
Morris Harden Jr. was murdered in Augusta, but investigators say his body was found in Burke County later.
Investigators say Harden was last seen at his home on Dyer Street in Augusta, but his body was found after Burke County deputies were called to the 1200 block of Watkins Pond Road between Old Waynesboro Road and Highway 56. Authorities initially arrested Willie Warren Johnson of Augusta; Carl Grady Rouse of Augusta; and Albert Killebrew III of Augusta and charged them with murder, kidnapping and tampering with evidence.
Today, a fourth person was arrested in connection with Harden’s death. Burke County authorities say 38-year-old Ramando Cartrellis Moore of Grovetown is in custody charged with Harden’s murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
A statement from the Burke County Sheriff’s Office said, “The investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are forthcoming.”
