The string of deadly shootings in Richmond County continues.

A man was shot and killed at the Corner Store at 2302 Wheeless Road in Augusta at 10:45 a.m. today.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says the victim was shot at least one time and was pronounced dead at Augusta University Medical Center.

At nearly the same time Monday, a man was shot at Janwiches Sandwich Shop on Columbia Nitrogen Road.  Investigators have arrested 31-year-old Sondrea Johnson at the scene and charged her with shooting her husband, 42 year old Claude Johnson, at least one time in the arm.  He is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.  Sondrea Johnson has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Crime.
