The man whom police named a suspect in the shooting deaths of two men at a Days Inn in Aiken County earlier this month is now in custody.

Twenty-year-old Hasheem Keywaun Rond Glover was charged with shooting and killing Barry Redding and Stephan Poole, both of Aiken, at the hotel on Columbia Highway North July 2.  Their bodies were discovered there July 2.

Aiken County investigators say developments in the case led deputies and agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to the 700 block of Morton Avenue in Crosland Park, where Glover was taken into custody without incident at 6:30 a.m. today.

He’s in the Aiken County Detention Center charged with two counts of Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.

Authorities say the investigation is on-going and more information will be released as it becomes available.
