Plans have been announced for the 29th annual Border Bash September 16 at SRP Park in North Augusta.

The event is held every year the night before the annual clash between the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks football teams.  It’s the third year the event will be held at SRP Park.  Fans from both teams come together to celebrate the annual rival match, with cheerleaders from both schools, mascots and musical appearances from Jaycie Ward, Joe Stevenson and Ryan Abel.  Fireworks will top off the festivities.

Tickets go on sale this Monday, July 18.  Order them online at or  General admission tickets are $15 in advance, $20 the day of the event.  Kids 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult.

To date, Border Bash has raised more than $941,000 for children’s charities in the CSRA.
