French Fries – Which Fast Food Restaurant Has The Best?
Visit any fast food restaurant and you’ll see that many of them have French fries as the main choice for a side item. While it seems French fries would be similar across the board, as they are just potatoes fried in oil, we all know from experience that they can taste and look different from place to place.
French Fries – Variety
When it comes to French fries, everyone has their favorites. You have so many varieties to choose from too- crinkle cut, homestyle, shoestring, waffle, and more! Some places even have batter on their fries which completely changes the game.
Then there’s seasoning for your French fries. Some people like them lightly salted, while others want more salt. And you’ve got Cajun seasoning available at some places too.
Once you’ve got the style and seasoning of your French fries, then there’s the question: To dip or not to dip? Ketchup? Mayonnaise? A Wendy’s Frosty? Personally, if I’m going to dip my fries in anything, it’s going to be hot sauce or some sort of cheese. The majority of the time I’m going to just eat them plain with salt though.
Speaking of cheese, that’s just one toppings you can add to French fries too. In addition to cheese, you can add chili, bacon bits, jalapenos, and more. There are so many ways to shake up just the traditional fried potato!

According to National Day Calendar, National French Fry Day is celebrated on the second Friday in July. That means the day will land on July 12, 2024 this year.
