Richmond County authorities are looking for a man in connection with a home invasion Monday that left one person injured.

Investigators say the suspect, identified as 21 year old Gavin David Carpenter, broke into the home on Shadow Ridge Drive.  He pointed a gun at the resident and ordered him to give him what he had.

Authorities say Carpenter allegedly pistol-whipped the victim several times.  He was treated for head lacerations.

Carpenter left with at least 13 pairs of Air Jordan tennis shoes, valued at more than $2,000.  When he's in custody, Carpenter will be charged with home invasion, aggravated assault, kidnapping, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.  Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
