Meet Mike,

Mike Post

Mike went hitch hiking on the highway back in April.  Animal Control kindly offered him a ride.

He may look grouchy, but most of the time he’s a “hunk of love”.  He’s 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds.  Wonderful on his leash, an easy walk, he is usually right beside you.

He doesn’t seem interested in toys, he may or may not know toys are fun.  He’s well behaved with kids, takes treats gently and loves a good rub down.

The feeling is he wants to be a “cuddle bug”, sit around watching football with his new family, giving gentle kisses to show his appreciation.

Mike likes other dogs, he doesn’t like cats.

He’s up to date on his shots, neutered, microchipped and HW tested (-).

If you would like to meet Mike, he available for a week long “test drive”, visit the Augusta Animal Shelter Monday through Friday from 11am-4pm and on Saturday from 12-4pm.
