Bacon and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, performed the challenging lift for the video, and have gained over 14.4 million views!
It only makes sense Kevin Bacon would take on this trend, inspired by his movie "Footloose," although that was quite a while back (1984). It was all in good fun, and Bacon even took to the comments section to say, "And yes, this was just as hard as it looks 😅"
Someone commented with: "It's all fun and games until your in the emergency department trying to explain this." To which Bacon replied, "We had the same thought right around our second attempt."
Just one day after the viral video, Bacon shared a photo of his wife on Instagram, with an icepack on her wrist. He captioned it with, "The aftermath of nailing a TikTok dance #Footloose."
Despite the apparent injury, we can't help but love the video! It's always great to see celebrities join in the fun and attempt challenges. Especially when it's related to their previous work!
