The House of Prayer Church in Augusta was raided this morning by the FBI.  A search warrant was executed at the church on Tobacco Road in Hephzibah, but little is known about the reason for the search.

Officials have confirmed the House of Prayer Church on Airport Road in Hinesville, Georgia was also raided this morning.

There were armed law enforcement officials at both scenes while the buildings were searched.

Sources say the churches, reportedly run by a member that lives in a gated community in Augusta, have been under fire in the past with allegations of abuse and manipulation of its members.

Few details have been released.  The FBI has confirmed there have been no arrests so far.
