Residents in Richmond County have until this Friday to cast a ballot early for next week's primary and nonpartisan election runoff in Georgia.

In Richmond County, all eyes will be on the runoff race for Mayor.  Voters will choose between Steven Kendrick and Garnett Johnson.  They were among a field of 9 candidates in the primary and finished at the top of the race, but neither had the required 50%, plus one to win the election outright.

There are also two Augusta Commission races on the runoff ballot.

As of Wednesday evening, 3,955 ballots had been cast in Richmond County during advance voting.

You can still vote through Friday at the Municipal Building, the Henry Brigham Center, Warren Road Recreation Center, or the Robert Howard Community Center.

Hours are today and tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

There will be no voting on Monday.  The runoff election is Tuesday, June 21.  Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
