Some results are in from today’s South Carolina Primary.

Henry McMaster has won the Republican nomination for Governor, seeking his second full term.  He beat opponent Harrison Musselwhite with 84% of the vote.

In other races that have already been decided:

In the U.S. House District 6 race, Democrat James Clyburn wins with 91% of the vote.  Duke Buckner won the Republican nomination.

Mark Hammond is the Republican nominee for Secretary of State with 78% of the vote.  He will face Democrat Rosemounda Peggy Butler in the fall.

Alan Wilson wins the Republican nomination for Attorney General with 68% of the vote.

Other races have not been decided yet.
