Summer doesn't officially arrive until June 21, but the CSRA is expected to see temperatures in the triple digits all this week.

Daytime highs will be close to breaking records.  The Augusta area is expected to record high temperatures of 102 degrees today and tomorrow, then 101 degrees on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  The heat index will make it feel more like 105 or 106 degrees.

Remember to drink plenty of fluids, wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible, stay in air conditioned rooms as much as possible, and remember that young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles.
