Driver Sought After Hitting Richmond County Deputy at Augusta Mall Parking Lot
A deadly weekend accident in McCormick County is under investigation.
It happened Saturday night on Highway 378 near Christian Road. Authorities say 28 year old Aladdin Harris of Edgefield was riding in the bed of a pickup truck when he fell out and landed in a ditch. He died later at an area hospital. The South Carolina Highway Patrol hasn’t said what caused Harris to fall out of the truck.
Three others in the vehicle were not hurt.
