Herschel Walker is projected to easily clinch the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Georgia, defeating five challengers. He had the endorsement of former President Donald Trump.
Several national media outlets declared Walker the winner just after 8:00 p.m.
Walker will face the incumbent, Democrat Raphael Warnock, in November.
