Gas went up an average of 15 cents a gallon in Georgia last week.
AAA Auto Club says motorists in the peach state are now paying an average of $3.98 a gallon for regular unleaded gas. That’s 27 cents a gallon more than last month and $1.01 a gallon more than at this time last year. Industry officials say crude oil prices remain above $105 a barrel, causing gas prices to rise higher this week.
Drivers can check area gas prices on the AAA Mobile App. In many cases, paying in cash versus credit card will save money at the pump.
