The Aiken County Animal Shelter is full and they’re offering reduced adoption fees for the time being to try to find forever homes for as many animals as possible.

Now through May 14, there will even be some adoption fees waived at the shelter on Wire Road in Aiken.  Hours are 11 to 5 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 11 to 7 on Thursday; and 11 to 4:30 on Saturday. The Aiken County Animal Shelter is joining shelters in 45 states in holding the annual promotion.
