CSRA News: Richmond County Searching for Man Involved in Shooting

Richmond County authorities are looking for a man who was allegedly involved in a shooting Thursday night that left a woman injured.

Witnesses told authorities 27 year old Charniquea Mingledolph of Augusta was talking to two black males outside the PUB in the 500 block of Broad Street when she was shot in the abdomen.  She was taken to Augusta University Medical Center, but it’s not known if she is still undergoing treatment.

One of the suspects has been identified as 27 year old Desmond Swearinger of Augusta.  He’s black, 6”5 and weighs 150 pounds.  He’s known to frequent the East Boundary area and should be considered armed and dangerous.
