Looks like we're in for another round of storms in the CSRA today.  Damaging winds and localized flash flooding could occur.

Severe weather hit the Augusta area early Tuesday, clearing the course at the Augusta National on day two of practice for this year’s Masters Tournament. Unfortunately, today’s forecast is almost a carbon copy of yesterday’s.  Rain and thunderstorms are expected to arrive later today. Those who had practice round tickets for Tuesday will be guaranteed a chance to purchase the same tickets next year.  Augusta National Golf Club officials say patrons will be given more information in an e-mail next month.

There was a confirmed tornado touchdown late Tuesday afternoon in Allendale County as severe weather threatened many parts of the South. A tornado was detected on radar around 4:00 p.m. prompting officials to urge Allendale County residents to seek shelter. Significant damage was reported to the downtown area.  Authorities say an emergency shelter has opened at Allendale-Fairfax Elementary School. A touchdown was also confirmed in the Swainsboro area late yesterday afternoon.
