A Columbia County industry is growing. GIW Minerals opens the doors to a $42 million expansion of its Grovetown operations next month.
The 70,000 square foot expansion is expected to make room for another 100 employees at the company that produces centrifugal pumps used in the mining industry. The additional space will be used to remove impurities from the pumps before they’re assembled and painted.
