Record number of AU Health physicians named to prestigious Castle Connolly Top Doctors list

AUGUSTA, Ga. (March 22, 2022) – Physicians at AU Health and AU Medical Center have long been recognized for their innovation, research and commitment to patient care. For the 22nd year, AU Health physicians have been recognized as among the top 7 percent of physicians in the nation by Castle Connolly in its prestigious list of Top Doctors in 2022.

This year, a record 56 AU Medical Center physicians were named to the list, along with six more who were named to the Top Doctors list for Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Five physicians were named to both lists.

Top Doctors is one of several national reference guides published by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. as a resource to help patients find the best healthcare in their communities. Physicians are nominated by their peers and thoroughly validated by Castle Connolly’s research team to ensure that they provide patients with the highest quality of care.

The Castle Connolly directory is the largest network of peer-nominated physicians in the country, with a record 61,000 physicians nationwide added for 2022.

“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta. She’s a Georgia native but currently resides just across the river in South Carolina. She started in the radio industry as a part-time board operator, and moved up through various roles, including on-air positions and program director for multiple stations.
