Richmond County authorities are investigating a homicide that was reported in Hephzibah overnight.
Investigators say the body of 25 year old Alan Newsome of Woodlake Road was found in the driveway of a home in the 2900 block of Ulm Road nearby. He had reportedly been shot at least one time. An autopsy will be performed at the GBI Crime Lab.
No other information has been released yet.
