According to the New York Post, Robert Durst has died at the age of 78.
Robert Durst was a New York real estate heir and a suspected serial killer.
Durst had been sentenced to lie in prison back in October 2021 for the execution-style killing of his longtime confidant Susam Berman. He was also indicted for the 1982 murder of his wife, Kathleen Durst.
His lawyer confirmed the news of his passing, saying it was due to natural causes, as a result of his many medical issues. His health had been rocky for a while, having tested positive for COVID-19 last year, and also battling bladder cancer.
Durst is most well-known for being tied to numerous misdeeds- including his wife's disappearance and the murders of his best friend and a neighbor in Texas.
