According to WJBF, earlier today, Aiken County Sheriff Deputies received a call for a well being check on Ascauga Lake Road in Graniteville, SC.
The landlord, and owner of the home, informed deputies that the tenant was not coming to the door. He had not heard from the tenant either.
The deputies entered the home, finding a deceased Hispanic male on the floor with an apparent gunshot wound to his abdomen.
UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Jairo Martinez.
