As part of the ongoing process to streamline the meter reading and billing processes in addition to the growth the City has experienced, Augusta Utilities will be changing the due dates for several service areas during the September and October billing periods.

The change will make all billing cycles consistent and allow a more uniform work flow resulting in greater efficiency as the department moves towards a fully electronic meter reading solution.

Late fees will be waived during this period, but will recommence at the next billing cycle starting in November.
