The University of South Carolina announced today it will hold in-person graduation ceremonies in early May.

Last year's spring commencement ceremonies were held virtually, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

USC President Bob Caslen said today the school "will continue to employ appropriate Covid-19 mitigation strategies and will monitor the spread of the virus and variant strains.

Spring commencement ceremonies will be held May 7 and 8 at Williams-Brice Stadium.  Tickets will be limited to five per approved participants.

2020 graduates are invited to participate in a special ceremony to commemorate their ceremony on May 15.
