Getty ImagesA local woman has been arrested by Columbia County deputies. She is accused of attacking her 1-year-old child's father, stabbing him with a butcher knife in the lobby of a local hotel.
The stabbing occurred overnight. Deputies were called to the Holiday Inn on Park West Drive off I-20 at Jimmie Dyess Parkway around 12:30 a.m.
Chakoya Lashae Sanders, 25, from Augusta, is being charged with aggravated assault, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime and cruelty to children in the third degree.
