Calling all dog lovers! Does your dog love a treat (is that even a question?)? There are plenty of options for buying treats… but if you really want to spoil your best friend even more—you can always make some simple dog biscuits. The best part is, you know exactly what goes in them!

Today is National Dog Biscuit Day, so we wanted to share a few ideas for simple treats you can make.

One that is especially great on a hot day are these Peanut Butter Banana treats:

  • 2 mashed up bananas
  • 1 cup of yogurt (plain is fine!)
  • ½ cup of peanut butter (creamy!)

Mix up the ingredients, put in an ice tray and freeze for a few hours.

Honestly, for my dogs, you can simply give them straight peanut butter, or cheese, and they’re just as happy as if you’d spent hours in the kitchen…

You could also try this super easy recipe too:

  • 2 cups of flour
  • ½ cup of peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • Water

Mix up the first 3 ingredients, add water until it becomes a dough, cut into cookies and bake for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
