Man Charged with Hit-and-Run Death of Pedestrian on Mike Padgett Highway
Aiken County Sheriff's OfficeFirst responders are on the scene of a massive house fire that began around 1:30pm today on 100 block of Telfair Street. The fire has spread to 3 other structures. One person was injured- a man was cut on the arm trying to break into the house to make sure no one was inside.
Responders have the blaze under control, but monitoring to make sure there are no hot spots.
No cause has been determined. At this time, no foul play is suspected.
