American Airlines will resume direct service from Augusta Regional Airport to and from Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C. starting next week.
The service was temporarily suspended in the spring of 2020 due to the economic impact brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
The reinstated flight service will begin February 11, starting with service 4 days a week from Thursdays through Mondays. Service is expected to expand in April.
