GOOD VIBES: 9-Year Old Boy Begs To Be Adopted, Gets Thousands Of Requests

Jordan is nine years old and has been in Oklahoma state care for six years. He was left alone in the system after his younger brother was adopted.

Jordan’s story was featured in a local news segment on KFOR, and when the reporter asked what his three wishes are, his answer was heartbreaking.

“To have a family, and family, family. Those are the only wishes I have,” Jordan said.

Jordan says that he wants a family so that he can “have some people to talk to anytime I need to.”

After a simple plea of “I hope one of y’all pick me,” the Oklahoma Department of Human Services received over five thousand adoption inquiries for Jordan.
