A shocking cell phone video was leaked and went viral Tuesday, showing the controversial shooting of Ahmaud Arbery in Brunswick, Ga.

WGIG in Brunswick initially released the video, before pulling it back down. WGAC’s Austin Rhodes Show posted the video on Facebook. Several media outlets are also reporting that the District Attorney’s office in Glynn County has recommended the case go before a grand jury for consideration of criminal charges.

Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed on February 23. Travis McMichael and his father Greg McMichael have said they did shoot Arbery, but that the shooting was in reaction to a citizen’s arrest situation. The pair had suspected Arbery was an individual who had been committing several home break-ins in the area, and confronted him when they saw him out jogging. Arbery was unarmed.
