Target officials have confirmed that an employee at the Mullins Crossing location in Evans has tested positive for Covid-19.

A company statement said the entire staff at the store has been notified and given the appropriate guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Store officials also say they worked quickly to deep clean and sanitize the store, as recommended by public health officials.

The Target team member who has the Coronavirus is being paid while quarantined at home.
