An Aiken County man is dead following an overnight altercation at a home in Edgefield County.
Investigators say 61 year old Frank Grant of Trenton was involved in the incident on Family Park Circle in Trenton around 1:00 a.m.
Authorities say Grant was placed in a choke hold until he became unconscious. He was pronounced dead around 2:30 a.m.
An investigation is continuing.
