Georgia Governor Brian Kemp will hold a news conference at 4:00 this afternoon to outline plans to ease restrictions on many of the state's businesses that were forced to close due to the Coronavirus pandemic. He'll be joined by Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan and House Speaker David Ralston. For now, Kemp's shelter in place order is scheduled to remain in effect until April 30. Kemp suggested over the weekend he is set to allow some businesses to reopen, provided social distancing guidelines are still being followed. He also talked recently to five other Southern governors about a coordinated strategy to get businesses back in operation as quickly as possible.
