Did you know that there is a safe and easy way to complete numerous Motor Vehicle transactions without ever having to come into our office?

Motor vehicle transactions that can be completed over the web, via telephone at (706) 868-6884, placed in the drop boxes located at the Evans and Grovetown offices and/or by mail at PO Box 2330, Evans, GA 30809 include:

· Vehicle Registration Renewals

· Insurance Fees

The Columbia County Tax Commissioner will temporarily allow vehicle registration renewals and insurance fees to be paid with credit/debit cards by telephone. You will be required to provide the operator your license plate and Georgia drivers’ license number.

The office will renew your permanent disabled persons placard per your phone, mail and/or email request. You must provide your Georgia drivers’ license number and address.

For the first issuance of a disabled persons placard, the original completed and notarized MV-9D Disabled Persons Parking Affidavit must be mailed or placed into a drop box.

You may complete the following transactions at https://eservices.drives.ga.gov
