Boys and Girls Club: Corona Virus Update

Boys & Girls Clubs to Close Temporarily, Will Offer Dinner to Club Members During Closings

Augusta, GA. Boys & Girls Clubs of the CSRA (BGC) announces that due to public health concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic and with sensitivity to concerns across the nation, all Boys & Girls Clubs of the CSRA locations in Richmond, McDuffie, Washington, and Wilkes counties will be closed beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. Clubs will remain closed until further notice and will follow school closing schedules in each county moving forward. During closures, Boys & Girls Clubs of the CSRA will offer “to-go” dinners for its Club members and their siblings in Richmond, McDuffie and Washington counties.

In an effort to provide additional support to the community, Boys & Girls Clubs of the CSRA will serve as a collection point for non-perishable food items and will distribute the collected goods to families in need. If your family is in need of assistance, please see a Club for available items. If you would like to donate non-perishable items, please take pre-bagged items to the drop off locations listed below. BGC requests that items be pre-bagged for families in need to grab and go.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the CSRA will continue to share updates and news via Facebook @BGCCSRA and online at www.bgccsra.org.

Non-perishable Item Drop Off Locations:

J. Hebbard Club located at 2241 Wheeless Rd. Augusta

Dogwood Terrace Club located at 747 15th Ave.
