It's a new week and all eyes are on Hurricane Florence as it continues to churn towards the southeast.

Along the way, Florence has continued to intensify in strength, and is now a Category 4 storm.

Earlier projections indicated that the CSRA might be in the storm's path, however, the latest storm update shows Florence has shifted slightly. Perhaps, our area will not be impacted to the severity earlier predictions had suggested.

The latest projection was shared on Twitter by Kevin Coskren of WRDW.

While this is encouraging news, as the storm gets closer, Florence could still shift in either direction.

If the storm does shift as it approaches the southeast, we could fall back into the scope of concern. Therefore, it's important to gather supplies and work on an emergency plan -- Just in case.
