The search is over for a missing seven-month-old who was abducted on Sunday by her father in Virginia.

The child, identified as Emma Grace Kennedy, was taken by Carl Ray Kennedy, after he assaulted and threatened Emma’s mother with a knife.

Emma was transported to a nearby hospital. It is not believed the child was injured during the ordeal.

After the infant was reported missing, a massive manhunt ensued in both Virginia and North Carolina.
