Authorities in North Carolina have arrested a man in connection with the disappearance of a missing toddler.

The little girl was reported missing by her mother earlier this week.

A few days ago, the mother of Mariah Woods issued a plea for her daughter’s return, however, based on evidence gathered at her home, police now believe the three-year-old was killed.

According to WLTX, The Sheriff’s Office in Onslow County arrested Earl Kimrey in connection with the toddler’s death. At this time, her body has not been found. Kimrey is Mariah’s mother’s boyfriend.

Kimrey faces several charges. His bond has been set at over a million dollars.
