AIKEN WORKERS GETTING A RAISE

  Aiken County workers are getting a raise, and it’s coming without a millage increase. Council members voted Tuesday to give county workers a 10 % raise.  Emergency workers will be bumped up one pay grade. The salary increases were included in the county’s new budget, which goes into effect July 1.
