Welcome to WGAC’s SmartVote 2012!

The purpose of this mini-site is to provide complete information on political races in the July 31 primary affecting citizens in Richmond and Columbia counties. Listings will include Local, State and Federal candidates for these counties. For the November general election, we intend to expand the listing information to include races for Aiken County, South Carolina.

It is our intent to provide a fair and unbiased listing of all legally qualified candidates. You may notice that some candidates’ listings are enhanced to include more information than others. This is because those candidates have paid a fee to WGAC for an “upgraded listing.” Upgraded listings are available to all candidates. For information on how your candidate can benefit from such an upgrade and the cost associated with it, please contact one of the following:
