An autopsy is scheduled today on the body of an Aiken woman shot and killed Monday by a sheriff’s deputy.  Investigators say 52 year old Deborah McCollum called 911 threatening suicide and was shot as she brandished a gun at officers who arrived at her home in the 2400 block of Andrews Circle.

The officer who fired, Deputy Christopher Salley, is a five-year veterans of the sheriff’s department and was placed on administrative leave while SLED agents investigate.
